For over 25 years, Region 8 Child Care Aware, a program of the Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council, has been dedicated to supporting families, enhancing the professional growth of child care providers, and educating communities on the importance of quality early education. We proudly serve the nine counties of Region 8: Cottonwood, Jackson, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Redwood, and Rock. Now, we celebrate our commitment to the region under a new name: Child Care Aware of Minnesota.
